サンクスギビングのブログの宿題（リスニング）12：DUE 11/26（月）

みなさん、こんにちは。纐纈（はなぶさ）です。
もうすぐサンクスギビングですが、何か予定がありますか？
秋休みにリスニング (extensive listening)の宿題をしてもらいましたが、どうでしたか？
リスニングのために何をつかいましたか？　映画を見ましたか？　それともおんがくをききましたか？　
またおなじようなアクティビティーをしてくれませんか？　アニメでも映画でもゲームでも、日本語のインプットがあるものだったら何でもいいです。

1. Choose any listening materials in Japanese (Movies, Anime, Music, Drama, Youtube Video, Quiz Show, Game, Radio Program, etc.). As far as you listen to 日本ご, any genres and/or length are fine, such as 2-hr movie and 5-min videoclip. You may listen to more than one material with or without subtitles. 

2. Write about your listening activity on your blog in English (and Japanese if you like). 

・  What materials did you listen to? (names of materials)
・  Post images related to the material you heard.
・  How long are they?
・  How many minutes / hours did you listen to in total?
・  Summary of the contents
・  Your impressions about the materials and the listening activity

ブログの宿題11：しめきり 11月19日 (月)

だい６かでは、道のせつめいのし方について勉強していますね。新しい言葉はもうおぼえましたか？　週末の宿題です。

キャンパス・町から何かひとつたてものをえらんで、そこまでの行き方をせつめいして下さい。教科書のp. 237 のActivity 2や p. 238 のActivity 3をモデル(model)にしてもいいですよ。

せんぱいのビデオ（Joshua Kuiper’s Fukushima video）

Explore East Asiaで見た卒業生（そつぎょうせい alumnus）のビデオをユーチューブで見ることができます。日本語プログラムの先輩（せんぱい）で、ノートルダム大学を卒業したジョシュア・カイパーさんの作ったビデオです。

カイパーさんは、２０１１年の大地震（おおじしん）と津波（つなみ）で大変な被害（ひがい  damage）を受けた福島県（ふくしまけん）、浪江町（なみえまち）で、JETプログラムの仕事をしています。

ブログの宿題10：しめきり 11月12日（月）

もう今学期ものこり少なくなってきましたね。来週火曜日と水曜日はユニットテスト２ですね。ブログの宿題です。

 

教科書p.215にホストファミリーについての読み物があります。これを書いた人は日本に留学中でホームステイをしていますが、少しこまっているようです。この人に、何かいいアドバイスをしてほしいんです。もし(if) 同じ問題（もんだい）があったら、どうしたらいいと思いますか？

１）教科書 pp. 186-7の「日本の文化」の英語の読み物を読んで下さい。

２）読んだ後で、かんがえたこと・かんじたこと (impression)を日本語で書いて下さい。書く時、だい４かの新しいことばや文法、漢字をつかって下さい。

・〜てもらう／〜てほしい

3) 日本語で書いた後、英語でもっと書いてもいいですよ！

好きなアーティストやテレビばんぐみ (program)がありますか？

日本語が上手になるためには、たくさん読んだりきいたりした方がいいです。好きなものを見つけたら、つづけられますよね。秋休みのしゅくだいは、Extensive Listeningです。

みなさん、だい１かのテストはどうでしたか？むずかしかったでしょうか？

今週末のブログのしゅくだいは、だい１かのふくしゅう (review)です。
今年、NDの日本語プログラムに小林（こばやし）先生というTAの先生がいるんですが、会ったことがありますか？　会話テーブルに行った人は、会いましたよね？　

小林先生は、今年の8月に日本からサウスベンドに来たんですが、今、いろいろ心配(しんぱい)なこと・こまっていること (to have a hard time; be in difficulty) があるそうです。みなさん、小林先生にアドバイスしてくれませんか？　

これが小林先生からのメッセージです。

1) サウスベンドの冬はとても寒いそうですが、冬になる前に、何をした方がいいでしょうか？

2) サウスベンドに来て１ヶ月になりますけど、くるまがないので、大学のそとにあまり行ったことがありません。じてんしゃはあるんですが、週末どこに行ったらいいと思いますか？

3) アメリカに来たのははじめてなんですが。秋休みには、どこに行ったり何をしたりするのがいいでしょうか。

みなさん、こんにちは。 第１課でいろいろ新しい文法（ぶんぽう）を勉強していますね。漢字（かんじ）もむずかしくなってきましたね。

今週末のブログの宿題（しゅくだい）です。

段落（だんらく: paragraph)で書いて下さい。

1. よくストレスをかんじますか？(かんじる= to feel) ストレスがある時、どんなことをしますか？　解決法（かいけつほう：solution）を書いて下さい。
2. ストレスがたくさんあって、こまっている ( to have troubles) 友だちがいます。アドバイスをして下さい。
3. クラスメートのブログを読んで、コメントして下さい。最低(さいてい at least)  ２つして下さい。

「私の友達／家族」について、ブログを書いて下さい。

→「Potential form」と「〜すぎる」を使って、書いて下さい。

そして、できるだけ（as much as possible)　たくさんの一年生の文法（ぶんぽう：grammar）をつかってください。

ブログ プロジェクト!

Let’s start the Blog Project. For this class we would like you to keep a blog because it provides a place:

1. To share/express your happiness, surprise, excitement, and/or frustration, as well as any questions you might have, while learning the Japanese language (or any other topics).

• While studying new grammar and words is very important when learning a language, it is equally important to actually use the language in a real life context. You must not wait to express yourself only when you think you have mastered the language because language learning is basically an ongoing process. In the beginning you may use English or any languages to express yourself, but we recommend that you gradually switch to Japanese whenever you feel comfortable enough to express yourself in Japanese.

2. To communicate with your classmates and other people outside of class.

• Language learning is not limited to what you do for the course but also includes what you do and experience outside the class. We will create links to your classmates' blogs as well as blogs by students in other schools, so you can see what other people think and feel about Japanese language learning (as well as other topics). You are also strongly encouraged to leave comments on these blogs.

• We know that your Japanese language is very limited, but you can convey your intended meaning more effectively by utilizing other resources such as pictures and videos. Remember that people utilize not only language but also other resources such as tone of your voice, music, body language, picture, color, font style and size for communication.

3. To reflect (or evaluate) what you have done so far.

• Sometimes it is challenging to see our own progress or growth. Blogs help you to look back and see how you have changed through the course of your Japanese language learning.

• At the end of the semester your blog will be evaluated by the instructors as well as yourself. We will discuss the criteria of evaluation later.
